I'm an exceptionally extroverted person who loves stories, fast cars and seeing the world, and who wants to help others find their voice. This is me outside the code.
In my free time
Hobbies
Video games
My main hobby is video games. I have been a huge gamer for close to 20 years now, and my favourites are single-player story games. My all-time favourite franchise is Mass Effect, and my favourite game ever is World of Warcraft. FOR THE ALLIANCE!
Music
I am huge on music, and I love metal. My favourite band is Linkin Park, and I love Metallica and Slipknot too. My wife and I go to every concert we can, and I have been to over 100 concerts and 10 music festivals in my life. My favourite sub-genre is metalcore, with All That Remains, Killswitch Engage and Bullet for My Valentine as my favourite bands. I actively played the guitar for close to 10 years, and I still have three guitars at home for some occasional fun. My favourite guitarists are Mark Knopfler and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Cars
I am a huge car enthusiast. I love German cars from the 80s until the mid 2010s, especially Porsches and AMGs. My dream car is the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, and I have a soft spot for Paganis.
Travel
I always wanted to travel and see the whole world. I have visited 26 countries so far, and my goal is to visit at least 50 and every single continent. Other than Europe, I have already visited Asia and Africa, but I can't wait to go back and to visit the rest of the continents. My favourite holiday so far was two weeks in South Korea, and the most beautiful place I have visited is Iceland.
Real Madrid
I have supported Real Madrid since 2002. My favourite players are Raúl González, Iker Casillas and the GOAT, Cristiano Ronaldo. Having played football myself, I grew up loving the sport, which unfortunately is going through a rather turbulent time. My niche hobby used to be freestyle football, but a serious injury stopped me from practising it ever again. My videos are still on YouTube and Instagram.
Movies
I love watching movies, especially horror, sci-fi and fantasy. My favourite franchises are The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Matrix and Blade. Related to movies, my absolute favourite anime is Dragon Ball Z, and the best series ever produced is South Park, and it's not even close.
What I stand for
Causes
Animals
I am vegan, and the most important cause for me is to end animal exploitation and suffering. I want to educate people about healthy and viable plant-based alternatives, and plant the seed of compassion and love for animals in their heads.
Accessibility
I am an advocate for accessibility, both on the web and in real life. I believe everyone deserves accommodation, and those of us who can make it a reality have the responsibility to do so.
Education
I believe in free and accessible education. In my eyes it is probably the most important thing for society. Most of our problems stem from a lack of education and from an outdated, bad system.
Open source
I believe in open source and actively donate to knowledge preservation and open source innovation. These are the foundations of our whole infrastructure and should be seen and appreciated as such.
Nature
Although I love cars, especially AMGs with big V8 and V12 engines, I donate to and advocate for wildlife and nature preservation. I see the contradiction and constantly battle myself on it. But I believe we can do more overall if we also live our lives the way we want and feel good, instead of being constantly stressed and burned out.
My artistic and professional self-expression aims at these causes. The games I design, the articles I write and the speeches I give already touch these topics, and they will keep doing so.

My main goal is to help the less fortunate, and to live a life with my wife that we can both be proud of, growing together.
Helping people grow
My professional goal is to use my exceptionally extroverted personality to help less confident people speak up for themselves, have more confidence and belief in themselves, and manifest, learn and grow.
Along the way
Visiting every continent, with Japan and New Zealand as the main destinations. Owning a 2010s V8 AMG, either an SLS AMG or a C63 AMG. And making a game or software that has a positive impact on the causes and people important to me.
